To begin the 2020 decade for the UCF Marching Knights, the band directors came to me to design Recognition Pins for the Band's fellow members. How it works is that for each year that one has joined the program, they will receive they will receive their pin based on the number of years they marched. For instance, a first year member will receive their First year pin while others who marched for three years will receive their Third Year pins.
As the name implies, the Pins are to commemorate the students who have put in the time and devotion to the band program and be bestowed upon them the recognition they earned.
Because they will be used for a considerable amount of time by the time I am gone. They will forever be my legacy to the UCF Program that I hold very dear.

I created four potential Recognition Pin design concepts for the UCF Marching Knights Roundtable Committee to vote for which they like the best, that being Design 3 (Elegance) which became finalized to be manufactured.
