What started out as a class assignment turned not only into a passion project, but also now part of the UCF Marching Knights' marketing for the 2020 season: Leave Your Legacy. I collaborated with the UCF Assistant Band Director Dave Schreier to create a recruitment poster to distribute to schools all around. While the poster only used is the one featuring the trumpets, the rest were created as to further expand upon this passion project of mine. Inspired by Art Deco, I created these designs based on the style used: that being the abstracted geometric style. This is so to keep the the figures faceless so that the viewer can imagine themselves being represented on the poster and as a member of the UCF Marching Knights, who embody the fact that all are welcome to join and leave their legacy.
This poster featuring trumpet players was the only one of the four posters that was used in the offical 2020 Marching Knights recruitment marketing.
